Covid-19 Moxie Shutdown

Not another Covid-19 post?!

But for though, this is another Covid-19 notice.

 Hope you all are staying home and being safe with your families.

As most of you know, KC Beauty is upgrading to MOXIE by KC soon! Originally we anticipated being open by the beginning of April, but obviously Coronavirus has thrown a wrench into those plans. Furthermore, we are under a closure order by Kansas City and Clay County, so the current studio at Aspen is also closed for at least 30 days, until April 25 (unless the order gets extended). This creates a big problem for us, as we still need to finish moving into our new space and getting our inspection, and we are currently unsure as to when that will happen. Deep breathes…haha!

With that said, all appointments for the next 30 days are cancelled until we get better guidance and more firm dates as when we can safely open. We are waiting to reschedule until we know more clearly what our opening date will be so there’s less confusion. We will be keeping all appointments on our books for the time being so we can go back and start making phone calls to reschedule anyone on our books during the closure period.

If you have an appointment during this period, your appointments are cancelled – please do not show up for your appointment, because you’ll leave being sad! 

Those of you with cancelled appointments due to our closure will be given first priority to reschedule. For everyone, please stay tuned to our newsletter (click the link and scroll to the bottom third of the page) and social media for further updates. We will also be updating our address and contact information for the new salon shortly. We seriously can’t wait to get back to work and welcome you all into our new space.

Also, we have gift cards available that can be used with any MOXIE stylist or product purchased in our new salon! Gift cards are a great way to support local businesses – us included – during this time, and we appreciate all of our clients who have already purchased them for future visits!
