It’s been a minute since we’ve showed you around our newly renovated, gorgeous space. Let’s take a look at what you’ll see when you visit us at the place where beauty and style meets cacti.

We wanted Moxie to make a statement from the street.

She’s SO cute, isn’t she? She’s more than cute- she’s cool. Our big logo reels you in instantly with a welcoming, bold hello. Anyone driving by would have no questions about who we are, and what we’re about.

Welcome in, Babe!

Take a seat and relax while waiting for your stylist to call you over to her chair. Our lobby is stocked with soda, sparkling water, coffee, tea, rosé and red wine. Lastly mimosas, when we’re feeling fancy. Cheers, Babes!

Retail therapy is a thing

I mean, if you were to look up “hair product heaven” in the dictionary, we’re pretty sure this photo would pop up.

Not only are we proud retailers of some of the best products in the industry (Eleven Australia, Innersense, Oligo), we make it a point to promote and retail local Kansas City favorites, such as Lila’s Clayground earrings. Lila creates custom, polymer clay earrings. She even has a Moxie Exclusive collection that is only sold here at Moxie.

The Salon floor

This is where the magic happens, y’all. Moxie is complete with eight custom-made station surfaces, built with love by none other than Mr. Moxie himself, Co-Owner Eric Crinnian (aka, KC’s boo). The frame work holding our gorgeous circular mirrors were created by KC’s Dad- aww! The white and blush cabinets are custom-made as well, and ergonomically designed to help our stylists stay organized, and efficient.

If you know us, then you know we’re a curly salon, which means we need some amazing dryers. Our dryer wall has comfy chairs, ottomans, end tables just for you to be as comfortable as possible.

Catching Z’s has never been easier

Say it with us: nap time. We can see it now- you’ve come into Moxie for a haircut. You were greeted by one of our friendly Support Staff members, and promptly handed a glass of wine. You give your stylist a hug (or a wave in the covid times) and catch up on all the life that’s happened since the last time you were in her chair. Now, it’s time for the BEST part of your appointment- the scalp massage at the shampoo bowl.

Lay down at one of our European shampoo bowls for a one-of-a-kind shampoo and treatment experience. These bowls are constantly fawned over, and adored. Our clients absolutely love to comfortably relax while their stylist shampoos and conditions, or does a restorative deep conditioning treatment.

Instagram worthy photo op spots

Um. How cute is the #MoxieMoment mirror, and our flower wall?! It was important to KC to not only create a beautiful workspace, but also, an inspiring place to capture the beautiful looks that walk out our door. The Moxie Mirror features a new, inspiring affirmation every week so our Moxie babes can capture their best selfie! The flower wall is ever-blooming with natural light, a professional photo light, and provides the perfect background for your perfect new look.

Neon Details

The pink flamingo is kind of our mascot. And honestly, “Screw it, Let’s do it!” is one of our many mottos. Its perfect for a hair salon specializing in transformations like Moxie!

Golden hour in our waiting area is our favorite time of the day…I mean, come on, drink a glass of rose and enjoy a few hours for yourself. You deserve it!
